On Sunday 28th July at 10am the gates opened on our very first summer fair and although the weather forecast was not in our favour we were still determined to have a fun filled day.

Staff and volunteers worked tirelessly giving up their day off to ensure the event was a sucess and not without its rewards as customers new and existing arrived in a steady stream throughout the day and morale was high.

With a plethora of stalls, catering & refreshments and childrens activities, there was plenty to keep the young and old among us entertained and despite the sudden precipitation in the early afternoon our spirits were not dampened.

After a long busy day, dusk was upon us we had to put the festivities to rest, overall the day turned out to be a great sucess with £620 being raised for the Trust.

We were honoured to have two of our Trustees and their families in attendance, showing their support for what we hope will become an annual event.
