Our continued work at the Focus Point community centre was interrupted when Covid -19 came and locked down the country. Our charity shops closed and the centre lost all its bookings.

With help of our County Councillor, several Mansfield District Councillors and volunteers from different social sectors we formed the support hub.

The centre remains open three days per week to accept donations for the local food bank, there is a dedicated phone line for members of the public requiring assistance with collecting essential shopping, medications or even just a friendly chat. There is a volunteer database for members of the community to enroll and a response form for requests.

The support network is registered on Nottinghamshire County & Mansfield District Council community hub pages for people to be able to contact us directly.

The support network will attempt to help anyone in need and if we can’t help then we will aim to find someone who can.

You can contact us directly on 07311 646758 or on our facebook group Focus Point Community Support Network
