Winter Wellbeing Events

Over the last year working with Notts County Councillors and Mansfield District Council we have successfully delivered two Winter Wellbeing events. We decided after the success of the winter warmer to enhance the event by providing health & wellbeing advice and some light entertainment for the elderly who were attending.

The main aim of these events […]

Building Our First School!!

Last years trip to Zambia left us plenty to talk about. There are just so many ways and areas that require help, we had endless requests and lots of ideas but unfortunately, our funding pot is not endless and we needed to narrow down our options.

After much debate we decided that our help would best […]

Mansfield Woodhouse Shop Extension

Due to the hard work of all staff and volunteers, the new look Mansfield Woodhouse shop opened on time.

We felt at this time that we could continue our commitment to the elderly residents within the village and decided to reserve a segment of the shop to have a small community coffee area. Over 60’s can […]

Mansfield Woodhouse Shop Expanding

Due to the success of our Mansfield Woodhouse shop over the last 18 months and the offer to occupy the adjoining shop, we have decided to expand.

Spring Ball 2016

On Friday 22nd April over 230 people joined us at Cowlick Hall for what was our first charity ball. The event was sponsored by Savanna Rags Int Ltd and as well as ourselves the other charity which we were raising funds for was APTCOO another Mansfield based charity.

The evening had a circus theme and guests were […]

Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust Donation

We are proud to have made donation of £1400 to the Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust. This contribution will enable them to carryout vital projects and help those in adversity and dire need.

Since 1983 they have accomplished so much through donations and will be able to continue their other projects. The list is very long including 13 […]

Mount Snowdon CONQUERED!!

Arriving at 10am in morning, the sun shinning and a cloud free sky we began the long walk to the top.

As time passed with some legs tiring and determination wavering the group stretched out along the steep rugged path.

The first members of the group arrived at the top just after noon with the rest of […]
