2019 marks a very special milestone for us, it is our 10th anniversary and what better way to celebrate than an evergreen ‘enchanted forest’ charity ball, not only to showcase what we have done but to raise further funds for our future projects.

Around two hundred guests including the Mayor of Mansfield Andy Abrahams came to join us for our event at Portland Functions. As is customary, we had another charity who we were supporting on the night, this year was Cornwater Evergreens from Ravenshead, they run a friendship group and a dementia group to combat loneliness in old age.

Along with our own celebrations the directors of Savanna Rags were celebrating their 25th year in business. They started business in Mansfield town centre with only a handful of staff and now employ over 200 people and are the major sponsor of the charity.

Along with a fabulous enchanted forest theme, guest were treated to entertainment from a 21 piece live swing band ‘Ravenshead Swing’, raffle, live auction, speeches and a presentation to our sponsors.
